Fabulous street rod project starter! A great looking short wheel base close-coupled 2 door sedan. Car came with spare tire mounts on both sides, but replacement fenders do not have spare tire wells.
The Mercury was only produced in 1933 as the smaller wheel based version of the Chevrolet Eagle. Very little information is available, making this a truly rare piece to stash in your stable!
Close coupled means that the rear seat is moved forward and the rear body wall drops just behind the rear axle. These were also known as a "bustle back" car of the era.
Part of a 390 car collection of mostly classic Fords from the 20's to the 80's. Keep checking back or ask about any particular car you are looking for. A brief video overview of the collection is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzIYtkqlGBI
